Chief Executive Officer
William Roof, PhD has more than 30 years of senior management and multi-disciplinary engineering experience in the commercial and government sectors. Prior to joining Intellicheck as CEO in October 2014, he served as Chief Technology Officer at TechFlow, Inc., where he managed the company's technology incubator division, focusing on law enforcement technology, energy technology and "big data" analytics technology for government and commercial markets. From 2004 to 2009, Dr. Roof served as Vice President of Research and Product Development at IntelliDOT Corporation, a healthcare information technology/patient safety and regulatory compliance product company.
Dr. Roof's earlier civilian employment positions include roles as Vice President, Research and Development at Cardinal Health's Pyxis Division, Program Manager at SAIC, Program Manager at Lear Siegler and Senior Systems Engineer at Litton Industries.
Dr. Roof's military career spans both the Army and the Navy, retiring from the latter as a Captain (Naval Intelligence), earning credentials as a federal agent with the Naval Criminal Investigation Service (NCIS) and specializing in force protection and counterterrorism. Throughout his military career, he was selected for and completed four tours as commanding officer in both the US Army and US Navy, and served as a US military advisor to the United Nations. Dr. Roof is a veteran of Operations Noble Eagle, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, having served in the Middle East in 2001, 2002 and 2003.
Dr. Roof earned a B.S. degree in engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an M.B.A. from Loyola Marymount University and a Ph.D. in software engineering from the United States Naval Postgraduate School.
Chief Financial Officer
Bill White has nearly 30 years of experience in financial management, operations, and business development. Prior to joining Intellicheck Mobilisa, he served 11 years as the Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer of FocusMicro, Inc. (FM). As co-founder of FM, Mr. White played an integral role in growing the business from the company's inception to over $36 Million in annual revenue in a 5 year period.
Mr. White has broad domestic and international experience including managing rapid and significant growth, import/export, implementing tough cost management initiatives, exploiting new growth opportunities, merger and acquisitions, strategic planning, resource allocation, tax compliance, and organization development.
Prior to co-founding FM, he served 15 years in various financial leadership positions in the government sector. Mr. White started his career in Public Accounting.
Mr. White holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Washington State University, and is a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Chief Revenue Officer
Robert N. Williamsen, age 51, is a strategically focused senior executive with a highly successful record in commercial information technology sales, business development and marketing across a number of markets and revenue models. As CRO, he will lead the Company’s sales and marketing teams and will be responsible for driving new business development initiatives.
Mr. Williamsen’s experience in commercial information technology sales and marketing includes several start-up and early stage companies including eight years with the Pyxis Corporation where he served as Western Area Vice President of Sales and Operations and worked with the management team through a successful IPO and, later, an acquisition by Cardinal Health. Williamsen also served as Vice President of Sales for IntelliDOT Corporation (now Patient Safe Solutions) where he hired, trained and developed skilled, professional and highly effective revenue-generating teams. Throughout his career, Bob has successfully formed strong business relationships with customers and with marquee industry partners.
Mr. Williamsen graduated, with honors, from Michigan State University with a B.S. in medical technology and later completed an executive leadership development program at Boston University’s School of Management.
Chief Technology Officer
Russell Embry was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer in July 2001. He has served as Vice President, Information Technology, since July 1999.
From January 1998 to July 1999, Mr. Embry was Lead Software Engineer with RTS Wireless. From April 1995 to January 1998, he served as Principal Engineer at GEC-Marconi Hazeltine Corporation. From August 1994 through April 1995, he was a staff software engineer at Periphonics Corporation. From September 1989 to August 1994, Mr. Embry served as Senior Software Engineer at MESC/Nav-Com. From July 1985 through September 1989, he was a software engineer at Grumman Aerospace.
Mr. Embry holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Stony Brook and an M.S. in Computer Science from Polytechnic University, Farmingdale.
Vice President, Sales
Bob Sanfelippo joined Intellicheck as Vice President, Sales with a focus on enterprise accounts in the retail space.
Bob brings a strong background as a sales and business development executive who has been successful across several market verticals including, retail, manufacturing, defense, consumer products, healthcare and information technology.
Mr. Sanfelippo has been acknowledged for achieving year-over-year bottom-line results, with a focus on helping clients achieve outcomes that solve strategic security and business challenges.
Prior to joining IntelliCheck, Mr. Sanfelippo represented a number of Global and Fortune 100 firms including GE, McKesson and most recently Gartner Inc., the global leader in Information Technology and Supply Chain Research and related Advisory services.
Mr. Sanfelippo holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin, and has done post graduate work at the University of Pennsylvania.
Director of Wireless
John Krouse has over 28 years of successful management and leadership experience in various military maintenance and intermediate support organizations. He has extensive experience in maintenance/production and quality control, planning, technical training and logistics support of fixed and roatery wing aircraft and related support equipment. He has been directly involved with the LSG project from November 2008 to September 2012. He has also been involved in the following projects: NoaNet BTOP project, JPUD Wireless, KPUD Metro Wi-Fi, and OPALCO.
